Blessed First Ten Days of Hajj
Bismillahirahmanirahim
Blessings be upon you O beloved Muhammad
who guides us through the Hajj of this immense Life,
who guides us through the Hajj
of the seven levels of our self,
the deserts of separation
and the valleys of weeping, the mountains of hope
and the dawn of certainty,
to reach the Shrines of our heart and our spirit,
finding the One Who awaits us
and Who calls us to return
Blessings be upon your precious Family and noble
Companions and upon all the Prophets, Mothers and
Messengers, and all the souls who have made this
immense journey from the Source and back to the
Source
And proclaim the Pilgrimage for humanity
They will come to thee on foot and
On every kind of mount
Lean on account of their journey
Through deep and distant mountain highways,
So that they may experience and witness the grace and blessings for them,
And celebrate the Name of Allah through the days appointed over the cattle He has provided for them.
So eat therefrom and feed the poor and distressed.
Hajj, 22:27-28
By the dawn
And the ten nights
And the even and the odd
And the night when it passes away...
Is there not in these a manifest promise
For those who perceive?
Fajr, 89:1-5
May we calm our hearts and focus our hearts in these blessed ten nights and ten days, culminating in the Day of Arafat and the Eid, on Thursday and Friday of next week.
