The Last Ten Days, Culmination of the Ramadan
Bismillahirrahmanirrahim
Beloved Community,
We are entering the last ten days of the Ramadan through the gate of martyrdom of beloved Hazreti Ali, may Allah be pleased with him and beautify his countenance.
The last ten days are the time when the Prophet Muhammad and his wives and family and companions, may divine peace shower ceaselessly upon them all, would make spiritual retreat in order to be in intimate communion with Allah. Having fasted and prayed and sacrificed for the first twenty days they had prepared themselves and emptied their vessel. So it is for us. If there is an empty cup it will be filled. If there is an empty ocean it will be filled. Everything we ask will be given.
In some way we are already in retreat, but we can go further. We can withdraw from interactions that are not oriented to the Source and to our inner hearts. We can withdraw from thoughts that are pulling us away from contemplation of Allah. We can withdraw from states that are not grateful, whether we feel ‘good’ or not good. We can withdraw from the many distractions that fill our lives and cover the truth. For those who are working or communicating with clients, of course continue if you cannot change your schedules. Simply remain grounded in Rahman.
Focus on your heart.
Focus on Zikrullah.
Focus on Koran.
Focus on prayer.
Praise Allah.
Ask from Allah.
The last ten days are a time of awe and love. May we do everything for love, for others and for Allah.
Love Hu
